Andrew Lokan is a distinguished advocate in the areas of constitutional law, administrative law, aboriginal law, labour and employment law, and complex commercial litigation. He has appeared before the Supreme Court of Canada in more than 25 cases that have defined the rights of Canadians and the limits of government powers and frequently appears before other appellate and trial courts.
Andrew has published widely on public law, and is a frequent speaker on the subject. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, which he has frequently represented on a pro bono basis, and he teaches constitutional litigation at Osgoode Hall Law School. Andrew is regularly recommended by Lexpert, Benchmark Litigation, and Best Lawyers in Canada as a leader in public law.
